About

This blog started out as a way for us three University of Pittsburgh students to keep our families and friends informed about what shenanigans we were getting into while studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina from February to July 2011; however, we didn’t anticipate that this would turn into a place where we would be able to connect with other bloggers and travelers from around the world!

Here’s more about us:

We all met on a quick trip to Viña del Mar, Chile in the summer of 2010 and decided that two weeks south of the border just wasn’t enough. Abi and Alexa bonded over their desire to travel to Argentina and eventually convinced fellow travel addict Maddy to come study abroad in Buenos Aires, too! Eight months later we boarded a plane, flew across the world, and began the most memorable six months of our lives! We managed to fulfill some bucket list goals, see some of the most beautiful places in the world, meet some crazy friends, try amazing cuisine, improve our Spanish skills, and even learn a little bit about ourselves in the process.

Our trip to Argentina was truly the trip of a lifetime. Honestly, we just aren’t ready for the “argen-time” mentality and lifestyle to end, so we are maintaining this blog to keep everyone who’s still interested filled in with our post-college lives, new adventures, and future travels!

Currently: We have sadly graduated from Pitt and are each dealing with post-graduation depression in different parts of the country. Abi is still working in Pittsburgh for the time being, and Alexa has moved to San Antonio!
